Car history:
The history behind this car is that it is a 3 owner vehicle with 77,285 original miles. The last owner bough the car running and drove it home before he decided he was going to do a full restoration on the car (this was in April of this year). After he stripped the paint off the vehicle and removed the engine he unfortunately had a heart attack and was unable to finish the project. 1969 corvette coupe, 350/350hp, original matching number engine car, original 4 speed transmission (serial number stamped on the side of the transmission housing matches the serial number on the car and title), original burgundy car (Paint code: 988) with tan leather interior (Interior code: 421). It's a power steering, power brake and factory air conditioning car. Frame on car is in excellent condition, NO RUST! The suspension has been completely rebuilt in the front and rear. New bushings, bearings, spindles, callibers, brakes, trailing arms, new stainless steel exhaust and a new gas tank. The red line tires currently on the vehicle are new. Body is in excellent condition, bonding seams on all four sides. Chrome bumpers are originals and the radio in the vehicle is also original. The ratio of the rear axle is 3.36. Another option that was included in this vehicle was rear window defroster. The only two parts that do not come with the car are the distributor and the air conditioning compressor. The vehicle comes with the original PROTECTO PLATE and other original paperwork that came with the car when it was purchased new on december 3, 1969 in Lake Villiage Arkansas. This would make a fantastic original restoration for any corvette enthusiast or collector. These cars are getting impossible to find! 77,285 miles. July 23, 2010.
